The Best of Times, Celebrating 30 years of Tip Top Productions

09/09/19 @ 6pm (Boys and girls) 7pm (adults)The Best of Times, Celebrating 30 years of Tip Top Productions

Tip Top Productions will be celebrating thirty years since the company’s very first production, ‘Showtime’, that was performed at Grove Park Theatre in Wrexham in September 1989.

Since then we have staged over 180 plays, musicals, workshops and pantomimes in Chester, Wrexham, Mold and further afield. ‘The Best of Times’ is a musical reflection of some of the highlights from our numerous musical productions. Performed by many Tip Top soloists these songs will bring back memories of our times on the Gateway Theatre stage, Theatr Clwyd, the studio theatre at Yale College, The Long Room at Eaton Park Estate, The Stiwt, Wrexham Memorial Hall and of course our own Forum Studio Theatre. We’ll also be including many songs that will invite the audience to sing along.

Director, Steve Davies would love to hear from potential soloists for this show. There will be minimal rehearsals but if successful following the audition, cast members should be available for the week prior to the show.

All soloists should be age 16+ and prepare a musical theatre song of their choice that has featured in any Tip Top Production over the past 30 years.

Director, Steve Davies will also see girls age 9-12 who should prepare ‘Tomorrow’ from Annie and boys age 9-12 who should prepare ‘Where Is Love’ from Oliver!

Auditions will be held at The Forum Studio Theatre in Chester on Monday September, 9th

Boys and Girls: 6pm

Adults: 7pm

You need not have performed the song in the original Tip Top production. All songs are available to everyone. See the History section of the website for the full list of previous productions.
