Cheshire Cats

04/03/20 - 07/03/20

Grown women, aching feet and heaving bosoms! Follow the "Cheshire Cats" team as they aim to speedwalk their way to fundraising success in the London Moonwalk. A girls weekend away with a difference - trainers and decorated bras are in, high heels and designer labels out. But a last minute substitute to the team doesn't seem to meet the physical criteria. . . . The "Cats" put their best feet forward in this comic tribute to all those who participate in The Moonwalk and other fund raising walks up and down the country.

For every ticket sold the company will be making a donation to Nightingale House Hospice.

Audition Notice

Will take place on Sunday September 15th 2019 at 11am in The Forum Studio Theatre, Chester CH1 2BH. No preparation is necessary. Please turn up on time to collect auditon pieces on the day

Our audiences will follow the antics of a group of girlfriends as they participate in The London Moonwalk and stride across the capital in record time in their decorated bras and posh new trainers. But one of the team doesn't seem to meet the physical criteria!
Their London Moonwalk is a cross between a girls' night out and a real mission to support a cause close to many hearts - with plenty of laughs and a few tears along the way.

Since it’s 2005 premier, visit to the Edinburgh Fringe in 2006, and subsequent publication by Samuel French, this very local and highly successful play has been performed over 300 times – travelling abroad and the length and breadth of the UK – with all performing groups following the example set by the ‘Cheshire Cats’ in raising funds for their chosen charity.
